Check out this artists site that includes some pretty awesome work. It has a very 'California' vibe to it, but they are based out of Minneapolis. Everything they produce is "green", made in the good 'ol USofA and has a funky modern vibe to it.
Their prints would look great in a kids playroom, teenager's bedroom, or heck, anyone who just loves really cool stuff (Have I ever mentioned my collection of license plates, road signs, and VW hubcaps?!)
I like their take on midcentury modernism;
